RE: the head/rt
compared to the previous releases, this piece is more experimental than i expected which is a pleasant surprise!
holy23 is so cute and wholesome. love the cute audio clip inclusion of your family and i love the beeping heart rate monitor sound and flat line sound at the end.
age well is a very vibey, groovy song and i love the emotional and down to earth lyrics about growing pains.
for red wine, the sound design of the cigarette/bog getting lit goes crazy, it reminds me of the movie "blink twice". i like a repetitive ad-libs near the ending, so theatric and cathartic
my fav is probably b-sides, love the revving engine sound and the switch up in tone during the middle part of the song into the low groovy tone.
i cant wait to witness the album live, i feel like it has alot of potential live
i looove the lyrics. its explicitly political and grounded without it being overtly preachy and phoney. it is clearly based on your own personal experiences and personal opinions so people can read it at the surface level or dive deeper into the implications if they want to since it is both politically and socially sound in the contemporary times.
the little sound effects scattered through the different songs goes hard, an ASMR-like sensation hits me everytime it appears. i dont know exactly what they all are but they give each song a distinctive texture, like a braille print, so fun to hear them!
so proud of you ♡
